The Office of Church Relations at Warren Wilson College works to maintain and develop relationships between the College and the Presbyterian Church (USA) through covenants with presbyteries, ties to local churches, and the work of the Church Relations Council. At present, the College has covenants with four presbyteries in North Carolina: Charlotte, New Hope, Salem, and Western North Carolina. Support from and friendships with local churches are fostered through correspondence, visits, and programs about the College. The Church Relations Council seeks to establish, enhance and sustain cordial and mutually supportive relationships between churches and Warren Wilson.
The College welcomes relationships with additional churches and presbyteries. Financial support is received both from presbyteries and congregations and is used for the Annual Fund, and to provide support for general scholarship and international student scholarship funds. The Office of Church Relations publishes a newsletter, The Church Relations Journal, three times a year. It is mailed to presbyteries, local churches and interested individuals.
